Clear information about filotip fees
Subscription fees and payment processing fees are different. Here is how to understand the costs before getting started.
For staff: no subscription fee
Staff do not pay a subscription to use filotip. This does not mean that tip transactions have no processing fee.
Processing fees on tips
A processing fee applies to each tip. The guest sees the fee before confirming payment and can choose whether to cover it.
Review the displayed total before paying. If you are a staff member or venue manager, contact us to confirm how fees affect the amount received under your setup.
For businesses: confirm your quote
Venue fees are set out in your agreement with filotip. Tell us about your business, team size and preferred tip allocation so we can explain the applicable costs.
- Ask about any setup or recurring charges.
- Confirm transaction fees and who pays them.
- Confirm payout arrangements for staff and the business.
Estimates are not payout statements
The tipping calculator compares assumptions about guest numbers, tip amounts and tipping rates. It does not deduct processing fees or predict your actual income.
